Rifat is the coordinator for Kairos Palestine, whose  "A moment of truth: A word of faith, hope, and love from the heart of Palestinian suffering", is a call by a group of Palestinian Christians to Christians around the world to help support justice and end the illegal Israeli occupation. He is also a former staff member at WCC Middle East Desk, and former President of Defence for Children International. He co-founded the Alternative Tourism Group (ATG), a Palestinian NGO specializing in tours and pilgrimages.

We were not able to record his presentation at our AGM. However, our friends at Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and United Church of Christ hosted a webinar with Munther Issac and Rifat Kassis in early May, where Rifat gave much the same speech, and where there was a broader input.
