About the event
Andrew McLellan, our Convener, will unfold the background of the Scottish War Memorial in Jerusalem that was part of the Palestinian Campaign of World War One: why were Scottish soldiers there and at that time?
The planning of the memorial took ten years and the story of these times is one worth telling – a story of determination and patience.
