How is the escalation of violence in the West Bank related to changes in the White House, and to regional dynamics in Europe and the Arab region and beyond? Dr Dalal Iriqat will discuss some of these issues as well as provide an update of events in Palestine in conversation with Dr Anthony Gorman from the department of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at Edinburgh University.

Dr. Dalal Iriqat is Associate Professor of Diplomacy and Strategic Thinking at the Arab American University Palestine. She is a weekly columnist at Al Quds Newspaper and a founding member of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network.
Her research focuses on diplomacy, nation branding, Palestinian state building, coercive diplomacy, public diplomacy, soft power, and mediation and conflict resolution.
