About the event
Christmas festivities are literally canceled in Palestine this year. Palestinian Christian leaders decided not to proceed with the annual festivities in Bethlehem in solidarity with the people of Gaza. There will be no public celebrations, no shimmering Christmas tree, and the nativity scene in one church depicts the infant Jesus laying in the rubble.
